Mr. Henry Mpagi

Mr. Henry Mpagi is the Director of Coaching at North Alabama Soccer Coalition (NASC) – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with over 40 professional staff coaches providing recreational and competitive youth soccer programs in North Alabama. He holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems from the University of Alabama in Huntsville(UAH). Before moving to coaching soccer full-time, Henry worked in the Telecommunication Industry for 15 years as a Computer/Desk Support Specialist.

Henry played college soccer at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). After graduation, he served as an Assistant Coach on the UAH Men’s team before joining NASC and beginning his 8-year high school coaching career. During his 20-year head coaching career, Henry has won numerous Alabama Club Championships and four AHSAA State Championships at Huntsville High School and received All-City, All-Metro, and Alabama State Girls High School Soccer Coach of the Year honors. He was also the NASC NPSL & WPSL; USL2 & USLW Technical Director.

Henry holds several national soccer coaching licenses, including the NSCAA/United Soccer Coaches (USC) Premier Diploma, the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) B License, the United States Soccer Federation Director of Coaching License, the NSCAA/USC Director of Coaching Diploma, and the United States Soccer Federation Youth Coaching License.
