Mr. Paul Lukiza

 Mr. Paul Lukiza is a professional medical illustrator (Art as Applied to Medicine) and head of the medical illustration department at Makerere University's College of Health Sciences. Mr. Lukiza holds a bachelor's Degree in Fine Art (Hons.) and a Masters Degree in Medical Illustration from Makerere University, Uganda. He also has a postgraduate diploma in Education from Makerere University, where he focused on Medical Photography and Medical Short Documentaries, including mixed media digital self-instructional Materials.

He has 30 years of experience in Medical imaging, medical Illustration, Medical Photography, and Biomedical communication. Over this period, Mr. Lukiza has trained and mentored young men and women in the biomedical communication field. Paul is a passionate farmer with a 25-hectare farm producing mangoes, coffee jackfruits, and goat rearing. Mr. Lukiza is involved in numerous charity endeavors both in church and in the communities.
